Accessories Pressure Sensors

We offer a wide range of accessories for our AMS pressure sensors to simplify the setup, the evaluation, the programming and also the data acquisition using our sensors. The accessories include evaluation kits (USB starter kits, Arduino kits), pressure hoses and fittings (hose nipples and push-in adapters) and connection cables.

Evaluation Kits

Analog Microelectronics offers various evaluation kits (USB Starter Kits, Arduino Kits) for its board mount pressure sensor series. These kits are suitable for quick and easy setup in the prototyping phase, but also for data acquisition or troubleshooting.

USB Starter Kits

USB Starter Kits are available for the board mount pressure sensor series AMS 5915, AMS 5935, AMS 6915, AMS 5812 und AMS 5105. The type-specific USB kits allow an easy and fast evaluation of a pressure sensor from the respective series using a standard Windows PC with USB port. The starter kit enables the readout of the sensor's digital pressure and temperature values, the inspection of the sensor's function and data logging. In addition, the USB Starter Kit can be used to change the sensor's I2C address to an individual address. This individual I2C address is mandatory for the operation of several pressure sensors from the same series on one I2C bus.
The USB Starter Kits consist of two printed circuit boards (PCBs) and software for a Windows PC (suitable for Windows XP, 7 or 10). The respective sensor is mounted on the Starter Kit without soldering using a ZIF socket. The Starter Kit and the sensor are powered via the USB port.

Arduino Kits and Evaluation Boards

With our Arduino kits and evaluation boards using our board-mount pressure sensors from the AMS 5812, AMS 5915 and AMS 6915 families together with the two most popular Arduino variants, the Arduino Uno and the Arduino Nano, is very easy!
For this purpose we offer type-specific Arduino Evaluation Boards (PCB sets), which are used to connect the corresponding pressure sensor to the Arduino Uno or Nano without soldering. Our free program library AMS Arduino Library (AMS.zip) for Arduino's integrated development environment (IDE) contains the necessary functions for data readout and an immediately usable and compilable sample code. The usage of the AMS Arduino Library and the necessary modifications in the sample code are described in the corresponding reference.

Connector Cables for Pressure Transmitters

For the AMS 3011, AMS 3012, AMS 4710, AMS 4711 and AMS 4712 transmitter series an electric connector cable is required for operation. We offer a cable with a matching M5 sensor connector, which ends in three individual cable strands. Please refer to the respective transmitter data sheet for the colour coding of the wires.
